Terms of Service
Last updated: July 15, 2026
1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of graniteai.co, a website operated by GraniteAI, LLC (“GraniteAI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Terms cover:
- Marketing and informational pages, including our Ideas articles
- The Enterprise AI Playground, a set of free browser-based tools
- The AI assistant chat available on this site
- Contact forms, demo requests, and other lead capture forms
- The Mica marketing and landing pages hosted on this site
These Terms do not cover:
- Mica, the subscription product. Mica is delivered at social.graniteai.co and is governed by the separate Mica Terms of Service. See Section 4.
- Enterprise engagements. Scope, deliverables, timelines, pricing, and intellectual property for consulting and custom development work are governed by the Master Service Agreement (MSA) or Statement of Work (SOW) signed for that engagement. See Section 5.
There are no user accounts on graniteai.co. Nothing on this site requires registration, and we do not process payments here.
2. Acceptance
By accessing graniteai.co, using any tool or chat feature on it, or submitting a form on it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
You must be at least 18 years old to submit a form or use the tools on this site.
3. The Site Is Informational
Everything published on graniteai.co is provided for general information. Content on this site is not an offer, a quote, a commitment to provide services, or a guarantee of any result. Prices, plans, capabilities, and availability described here can change at any time without notice.
Our Ideas articles are opinion and analysis. They cite third-party sources we do not control and reflect our view at the time of writing. We do not update them as events change.
Any customer names, sample posts, screenshots, metrics, or example outputs shown on this site illustrate what the work looks like. They do not predict or promise the results you would get.
4. Mica Pages on This Site
We market Mica, our autonomous social media service for local businesses, on this site. Those pages include /mica and its subpages, our trade and location pages, and named-business pitch pages.
- These pages are advertising. They describe the product and are governed by these Terms as website content. They do not create a subscription, a contract, or a binding quote.
- Pricing shown is current at the time of publication. The price that applies to you is the one shown at signup and on the order you accept.
- Signup happens elsewhere. Every “start free” and “start free trial” link on these pages sends you to social.graniteai.co. When you create an account there, the Mica Terms of Service and Mica Privacy Policy govern your use of the product, including autonomous publishing, trials, billing, content ownership, and cancellation. Those Terms control over these Terms for anything to do with the product itself.
- Lead forms on Mica pages. Submitting a form on a Mica page asks us to contact you. It does not enroll you in a trial, start a subscription, or obligate either of us to anything.
- Named-business pages. Where a page names a specific business, it is an unsolicited proposal prepared by us for that business. It does not imply that the named business is our customer, has reviewed the page, or endorses us.
A full list of Mica subprocessors is published at social.graniteai.co/subprocessors.
5. Enterprise Engagements
We provide AI consulting, custom software development, and agent development to businesses. Nothing on this site defines those engagements. The scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, confidentiality obligations, and intellectual property terms for each engagement live in the MSA or SOW executed between us and the client.
Intellectual property developed during an engagement is allocated per engagement in the relevant SOW or MSA. We offer arrangements ranging from full transfer of the delivered work to a license of GraniteAI core components. Where a signed agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
Submitting a contact form, requesting a demo, or discussing a project with us does not create an engagement and does not obligate either party.
6. The Free Tools and the AI Assistant
The Enterprise AI Playground and the AI assistant chat are free, require no account, and are provided for evaluation and general use.
- Output comes from AI models. The prompt enhancer and the chat assistant send your input to OpenAI and return model-generated output. That output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or fabricated. Verify it independently before you rely on it.
- Output is not advice. Nothing these tools produce is professional, legal, financial, medical, or engineering advice. We are not liable for decisions you make based on it.
- Do not submit sensitive information. Do not enter confidential material, trade secrets, personal information about other people, government identifiers, financial account numbers, health information, or credentials into any tool or chat on this site. These are public tools with no account and no access controls.
- Rate limits apply. We limit request volume per IP address on the AI assistant and the prompt enhancer to keep them available. Do not attempt to circumvent those limits.
- Some Playground entries point off this site. The Playground page also showcases work hosted on other domains and systems we run outside graniteai.co. When you follow one of those links, you leave this site, and these Terms and our Privacy Policy stop applying. Whatever you submit there is handled by that system under its own terms. Check them before you paste anything sensitive.
- We may change or remove them. Any tool on this site can be modified, restricted, or withdrawn at any time without notice.
7. Acceptable Use
You will not:
- Use the site or its tools for any unlawful purpose, or to produce content that is defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, deceptive, infringing, or hateful
- Submit personal information about another person without that person’s consent
- Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or expose the system prompts, model configuration, or non-public API behavior behind our tools, including through prompt injection
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-harvest the site beyond ordinary search engine indexing
- Circumvent rate limits, origin checks, or other technical controls
- Interfere with, overload, or probe the site or its infrastructure for vulnerabilities
- Misrepresent our tools, our output, or our brand as your own product or service
We may block access from any IP address or restrict use of any feature at our discretion, without notice.
8. Intellectual Property
The site and its contents, including the design, branding, code, articles, tool interfaces, prompts, and documentation, are owned by GraniteAI and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view and use the site for your own personal or internal business purposes.
You may quote and link to our Ideas articles with attribution. You may not republish them in full, or reproduce them as your own content, without our written permission.
What you type into the tools stays yours. As between you and us, you keep whatever rights you have in the text you submit, and you may use the output a tool returns to you for any lawful purpose. Because the output is generated by an AI model, we make no claim that it is original, that it is free of third-party rights, or that it is protectable. Other users may receive similar output from similar input.
9. Submissions and Feedback
When you submit a form on this site, we use the information you provide to respond to you and to follow up about our services. Our handling of that information is described in our Privacy Policy.
If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback about our site, tools, or products, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it without restriction or compensation to you.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
This site links to third-party websites, articles, and services we do not control, and it relies on third-party providers to operate. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third party. A link is not an endorsement.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND ITS TOOLS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR FIT FOR YOUR PURPOSE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRANITEAI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
BECAUSE THIS SITE AND ITS TOOLS ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. It also does not apply to a paid Mica subscription or to an enterprise engagement. Liability for those is governed by the Mica Terms or by the applicable MSA or SOW.
13. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GraniteAI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any third-party claim, and any resulting damages, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the site in breach of Section 7, your submission of another person’s information without consent, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing us at jason@graniteai.co with a description of the issue. We will do the same. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, either party may proceed in the state or federal courts located in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, and each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief to protect its intellectual property.
15. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent needed and the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all our assets.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent change. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
