Your Instagram, inside ChatGPT and Claude
Post what gets you seen by the people who become customers.
Every post is a bet on attention. Most people place it on instinct, glance at Instagram Insights, feel vaguely informed, and post the next thing anyway. Connect your account once, and the ChatGPT or Claude you already use reads your numbers, tells you what worked and why, and helps you decide what comes next.

The question that matters
What should I post next?
It is the only question your analytics exist to answer, and the one a dashboard never will. Ask it in plain words. Your AI answers from your own account: which posts reached people who do not follow you yet, what they saved, where your audience lives, what your last Story sent to your profile. Then it helps you make the next one. The video on this page is one of those answers, unedited.
- 01No setup beyond connecting. Everything you have already posted is there to read.
- 02Follow up like you would with a person: "why that one?", "show me the rest", "what do they have in common?"
- 03It remembers the conversation, so next week starts where this one ended.

Our own account, read 27 September 2026
At hour one, two of these Reels were five views apart.
By hour six one had 1,716 views and the other had 121. It never moved again. Instagram shows you where a Reel ended up. The Analyzer reads it every hour for its first day, so your AI can tell a stall from a slow start while there is still time to act on it.
- Hour 2
- Skip rate had already split them: 44 percent on the Reel that took off, 58 percent on the one that stopped.
- Hour 6
- The slowest start of the three, 68 views at its first reading, was still adding 160 views an hour at the end of day one.

Our own account, 31 Reels, 27 September 2026
One number sorted 31 Reels into the ones that traveled and the ones that stopped.
On 1 September we asked what separated our Reels, and the answer was skip rate: the share of people who scroll past in the first seconds. Four weeks later we asked again with three times the Reels. The line held.
- 8 of 8
- at 41% skip or under
- Every one cleared 1,200 views in its first 24 hours.
- 0 of 22
- at 47% skip or over
- Not one reached 1,000 views in its first 24 hours.
- 1
- in between
- At 43 percent, it stalled at 112. The gap is narrow and it is real.

2,842 views, 75 saves, a 3.0 percent save rate.
- 75 saves
- 3.0% save rate
That Reel asked people to comment for the guide. Saves ran three per hundred views, which is the kind of thing you can act on the same week rather than the next quarter.

YouWhat kind of pattern do we see in the data that can help us drive more reach?
Replay factor is not separating winners from losers very well. The algorithm appears to reward posts where the opening keeps skip rate around 40 percent and the content produces saves.
Your highest reach post did exactly that by promising an instruction guide. It generated 75 saves and 19 comments.

Our own account, 28 days to 27 September 2026
Your followers are your neighbors. Your reach is strangers.
Instagram Insights shows both numbers on different screens. Put them in one conversation and the picture changes: the people who see your Reels are almost never the people who already follow you. That is the audience your next post has to win.

Instagram Insights is a screen you read. This is an analyst you talk to.
Instagram shows you the numbers. It does not tell you why, and it does not answer the follow-up. Your AI does both, holds the whole picture, and remembers last week. The Analyzer also keeps readings Instagram does not show you: what each Reel did hour by hour through its first day, which tells you whether the hook held, and what a Story did before its numbers vanished at 24 hours.
What each reading holds
- Skip rate, the share of viewers who moved on
- Saves, and saves per hundred views
- Shares, sends to another person
- Views and reach at that moment, not today
Every Reel and post, read as it happens
- 1h
Every hour, day one
The hook check. A reading every hour for the first 24, so skip rate at hour two can warn you before the view count does.
- 24h
24 hours
The spread check. Saves and shares at a day tell you whether anyone thought it was worth keeping or passing on.
- 72h
Out to 72 hours
The settle. A reading every six hours or so until day three, so you see where the Reel actually landed and the path it took.
One connection, a hundred questions
Your AI already knows how to compare, explain, plan, and write. Now it has your numbers.
The Analyzer hands ChatGPT or Claude your Instagram data. The rest is a conversation. Four questions about who you are reaching, four about what to make next.
- You
How much of my reach last week came from people who do not follow me?
- You
Which carousels got saved, and what did they have in common?
- You
Where do my followers live, and how old are they?
- You
Did any Story this week send people to my profile?
- You
Which of my Reels took off this month, and why?
- You
Write three opening lines in the style of my most saved post.
- You
Give me a weekly review I can read in one minute.
- You
Why did yesterday's Reel stop at a few hundred views?
Your AI answers with your account behind it. The Analyzer reads; it never posts, replies, or changes anything on Instagram.

Scope, stated plainly
One Instagram professional account: Reels, feed posts and carousels, Stories, daily account insights, and audience demographics. Meta reports no follow data for individual Reels, so Reels are measured by what people do with the video itself: skip, save, share. Not covered: hashtag search, competitor accounts, comment text, and DMs, each of which needs a different Meta permission. This page will say so if that changes.
Before you put a card down
- What is Mica Social Media Analyzer?
- An Instagram analytics tool that works inside ChatGPT and Claude. You connect one Instagram professional account once, and the AI you already use can read every Reel, post, and Story, your follower count over time, and your audience. You ask in plain words and it answers from your own account. Read only. It never posts.
- How is it different from Instagram Insights?
- Instagram Insights shows you today's numbers on a screen. The Analyzer hands them to an AI that compares, explains, and answers the follow-up. It also keeps readings Insights does not show you: what each Reel and post did every hour of its first day and out to 72 hours, and what a Story did before its numbers vanished.
- Which Instagram numbers can it read?
- For Reels: views, reach, skip rate, saves, and shares, every hour for the first day and out to 72 hours. For feed posts and carousels: views, reach, saves, shares, profile visits, and follows. For Stories: their numbers every hour while they are live. For the account: daily reach and views split between followers and people who do not follow you, follows and unfollows, profile taps, and your follower count over time. Your audience by age, gender, country, and city, refreshed once a day.
- Is this a dashboard?
- No. After setup there is nothing to log into. The whole product lives inside the ChatGPT or Claude conversation you already have open.
- Does it post anything to my account?
- No. The permission it asks Instagram for is read only. It cannot publish, reply, or change anything.
- What happens on day eight?
- The card on file is charged $29 for the month ahead. Cancel any time before that at social.graniteai.co/account and nothing is charged.
- What is Reel Studio, and is Pro included?
- Reel Studio is our plugin that edits your Reels inside Claude Code or Codex. Reel Studio Pro is included with the Analyzer, and the download is on your Analyzer page from the first day of the trial. It needs a Windows PC with Claude Code or Codex. The Analyzer does not.
- Do I need ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro?
- You need an account that can add connectors. Both companies gate that by plan and change the rules from time to time, so check yours. The install page shows the exact clicks for each.
- Why the tester invitation step?
- While the Analyzer is in its private beta, Instagram only lets an account authorize it after that account accepts an invitation from our Meta app. You give us the handle, we send the invitation, you accept it once. That step disappears when Meta review completes.
- Does it work on a personal Instagram account?
- No. Instagram only exposes insights for professional accounts. Switching a personal account to Creator or Business is free and takes a minute in the Instagram app.
